This is a personal finance app, so the honest version matters more than the legal-sounding version. Here is exactly what we store, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
What we store
Your account details: the email address you signed up with, a hashed password (we never store the password itself), and — if you used Google to sign in — the identifier Google gives us.
Your financial data: the accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, goals, bills, people, and receipts you enter. All of it is entered by you. We do not import it from anywhere.
Basic technical records needed to run the service, such as session information and error logs.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use it to target advertising. There are no advertising trackers on the app.
We do not connect to your bank. There are no banking credentials in this system to lose, because we never ask for them.
We do not allow search engines to index any page behind sign-in. Only the public marketing pages are indexable.
AI features
When you use the assistant, the budget builder, or receipt scanning, the relevant part of your data is sent to our AI provider to produce that response. It is used to answer you and is not used to train public models.
The AI never calculates your balances, budgets, or totals. Those come from a deterministic engine inside the app. The model explains numbers; it does not produce them.
If no AI provider is configured, those features are simply switched off and nothing leaves the system.
We use your email address to verify your account, reset your password, send the notifications you have turned on, and reply when you contact us. We do not add you to a marketing list.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from inside the app. Deleting it removes your workspace and the financial data in it.
If you want a copy first, export it — and if the export you need is not there yet, write to us and we will get it to you.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will say so in the changelog and, where it matters, by email.
